Never thought I would see this happen. I was happy to get a winning season back in the 90's and early 2000's.

Just getting to go to a bowl game was like winning a national title.

Truth. The New Orleans bowl against North Texas felt like we’d won it all. A
D honestly we could win the national championship now and I wouldn’t be any happier than I was that night.

Right? It seems not that long ago that there was talk of dropping the FB program altogether, particularly when local high school matchups far exceeded the Tigers in game attendance.

8-0 against ranked opponents at home. That’s damn impressive on so many levels.

It was only talk in the media not at the university.

More proof how the G5 gets screwed constantly. 8-0 at home against ranked
0-10 on the road.

Almost all G5 vs ranked P5 are on the road.

I don't want to give these guys their own thread, but who are John, Larry, and Bryan on the Tigers Tonight podcast? I just ran across that and gave it a listen. Boy, talk about being dramatic on Silverfield. I'm guessing these guys are some of the Negative Nancies that post on here. I'm still trying to decide whether CRS is the right guy for us. But these guys have him fired, tarred, feathered, and run out on a rail.

RE: Tiger football last 100 games
A ranked Football program is no longer an anomaly, from a team that a handful of years ago could not put 10,000 butts in the Liberty Bowl, to 2019 ESPN College GameDay on Beale Street vs SMU! And this with coaching staff changing season to season. (Dan Lanning is listed as the #1 asst. coach in Power 5 and slated for a head coaching job).

As for Ryan Silverfield, the man deserves a chance, COVID, transfer portal, new coaching staff, new QB, Gainwell going pro. Seth Henigan will set records here in the long run (think of the progress Lynch made between years 1 and 2).

Stay positive we've had some good years but have plenty more coming in the near future. Heck, we are 5-4 and could easily end up 7-5 this season with an outside chance at 8-4 --- give me more Tiger cool-aid!!
