Yep. He was a good guy. Played his hardest. And, anyone who beats the Turds should be enshrined.

Of course, coach Ham was asked; starting at 10:52: How’s Rocky? He’s doing well. Asked about another player – he’s doing good too. I couldn’t hear the next question, but coach said he doesn’t live in hypotheticals and prepare as if players are healthy, etc. So, no real further information if Rocky is playing or not.

He clearly didn't look concussed on the sideline. He was laughing and appeared bright and talkative.

The brain is weird. Sometimes the smallest tap and you're in concussion protocol for 2 weeks (or more) then sometimes you get knocked out and nothing. He appeared to get hit on the jaw (like a right hook from a boxer) and didn't get a direct hit to the skull. So, maybe that was what kept him from having a concussion?

I just saw this: "Richie left last week's game due to injury and is not listed on the depth chart for Wednesday night's matchup" against Ball St. It doesn't sound like Tyrice will play (which is not surprising after seeing the injury and then on crutches with leg wrapped or in an air cast).

I also saw this: Rocky "was knocked unconscious late in the Kent State game but eventually walking off under his own power and Hammock said he should be good to start this week’s game." So, it at least sounds like Rocky is OK to go.

Concussions are very serious. My son had three and has PTSD. It can be debilitating.

Wouldn’t it make sense that Rocky had to go through a full practice if he was going to play? I’m not sure what Return To Play protocol is for the NCAA. It’s all super subjective and vague from what I can find. That’s probably all about liability.

The coaching staff has been playing with the depth charts for a while now. I’m pretty sure I remember Waylee in the depth chart for the Toledo game after he left the EMU game early the week prior. Maybe Hammock just doesn’t want to show his hand with Lombardi? Hopefully I’m wrong and Rocky is playing tomorrow.

Undoubtedly, Rocky took a big hit but do we really know if he was knocked unconscious. As has been pointed out, he walked off the field and looked jovial on the sidelines not long afterward.
