1a Louisiana- consistent winner with a killer instinct late in games.
1b App State- Good QB, plenty of skilled guys around him, and a scrappy defense.

3 Coastal- lost to App but wouldnt rule them out in a game versus either Louisiana and App. An elite offense with McCall ath the helm.

4 Troy- one of the toughest defenses, if not the best, in the league.

5 ULM- found the future QB in freshman Rogers. Just need some more pieces on both sides of the ball to be consistent.

6 TXST- I know they beat ULM, but had to rank below when factoring the whole season. Definitely more talented than the record indicates. Need better OL and figure out things at QB.

7 USA- started hot with early 5 wins, but on a downward trend. Dont see another win on their schedule. Hate that USA might not get bowl eligible despite their hot start.

8 Ark State- still dangerous on offense to surprise some folks. Defense has been a letdown.

9 GS- ineffective offense. Good front 7. Not so good secondary, granted they lost key players due to injuries.

10 GSU- bad bad bad. Underachieving all exlectations. Cant close out games....smh.

App is clear second not 1b based upon the season thus far.

Fair. Personally I thought you guys just didnt play well vs UL, and nothing went right in that game, which happens in sports. Probably will see a rematch between the two.

To be fair, Coastal wants another crack at App as well... unfortunately we are in the same division lol (With a healthy McCall of course)

Think you have as ranked too high, we’re still only a 3 win team.

We aren’t last. We’ve had a couple of embarrassing losses, but we’ve also played some respectable games too. We are as average as it gets.

Buddy, y’all are way better than you are suggesting. I would put GSU around (5). Everything else is pretty accurate. Please step away from the ledge.

In regards to the question, I'd think the latter. Louisiana has slaughtered a number of chickens this year for a few of their close wins. To the point where it almost doesn't make sense that yall lost by as much as you did. GS with no offense lost by 8.

Oddly enough, with just a trickle more offensive competence, GS likely would have 4 more wins thus far.

There's a special basement for AState and Georgia Southern, we're even thinking of letting USM in so they can hang in our cool new bachelor pad too!

Exactly. To me the mark of a good team…a championship level team…is the one that knows how to overcome missteps, etc., and still walk away with the WIN. Napier and company have shown us that they can do this several times this season. And so far the record is perfect in doing just that.

In fact, Thursday’s game impresses me a lot more fun than the blow-out win against app. To me it’s a lot easier to take down a good team not playing well than it is to take down a middling team that is coming after you full steam.
