Great article in today's Blade by Kyle Rowland on Javon Simmons where he gives his reasons for selecting Toledo and how he wants to fit into the Program. The following is a quote from his Head Coach Tony Staib which pretty much sums up the type of Player that TK wants for his program:

“I’ve been coaching high school basketball for 31 years, and he’s one of the top five just best people that I’ve coached,” said Staib, one of the most respected coaches in the state. “He’s a tremendous leader. He’s a good teammate. He’s a good representative of the program in the hallways, in the classroom, and in the community. He’s fun to coach. He’s got a great personality. One minute you can be hard on him and the next minute you’re joking around. He’s just a quality human being, and that’s a credit to his parents.”
