And then tomorrow night we get the worst that NAIA has to offer!
Carlow is 2-67 over the past three seasons... But hey, they've already got their one win for the season this year and are 1-1 after losing 94-81 at Penn State! Scratch that, losing 94-81 at Penn State - Greater Alleghany.
Tomorrow's game might be even easier than Saturday's.
Out of curiosity I looked at PSUGA's schedule and over the course of the year they play Penn State Beaver, Penn State Wilkes Barre, Penn State Scranton, Penn State Fayette, Penn State Schuylkill, Penn State Hazelton, Penn State Leigh Valley, Penn State Brandywine, Penn State New Kensington, Penn State York, Penn State Mont Alto, Penn State Shanango, and Penn State Du Bois over the course of the season.
PSU Conference?

Wild. I never even knew there was one PSU satellite school let alone a million.

Little Rock 69 Southern Illinois 66
Despite SIU making 11 3's and us making only 2, we forced them to commit 23 turnovers that turned into 33 points for us.
We start off the year with a decent D1 win, woohoo! Now it's our turn to play D3 schools :/

RE: Week 1– Belt basketball (Tues 11/9 thru Sun 11/14)
I now remember why I can't watch basketball. Fouls, every 3 seconds. Drive, foul, shoot foul, dribble to look like you're gonna shoot, foul and free throws even though you weren't yet shooting. No one questions it.
That said, either both App and Iona have terrible offense or both will have very difficult defenses this year.

Southern Miss up 52-25 on cross-town “rivals” NAIA William Carey. Big progress considering they beat us twice in the last ten years.

USA is showing they can beat a lower division school. We lead Spring Hill 52-17 at the half.

GASO leading Ball State late. Would be a really good OOC win for the SBC.

Very encouraging start to the season considering we barely scraped by them last year. Cant wait to see how we fare against LSU.

RE: Week 1– Belt basketball (Tues 11/9 thru Sun 11/14)
AState is off to a strange start already...Administration decided to do a "Triple-Header" today to excite the students. Women's Basketball played this morning, Volleyball played at 5:00pm to finish their season and Men's Basketball at 7:30
Problem is, the Volleyball game went the full 5 sets and didn't end till 7:30. Then there were difficulties getting the Volleyball stuff taken down so the basketball players could warm up. After 20 minutes of extra delays, players finally came out for their first warm ups (30 minutes before the game can start) and one of Harding's players decides he needs to dunk the ball, and promptly breaks the basket.
So now we have another 10-15 minute delay while we switch out baskets. So if the Men's game tips by 8:50 we've done something right...
