Bloomberg Financial Asks Jen Grandholm a question referencing Sturgis Mi

Once energy independent super power now has to beg OPEC to pump more dirty crude to increase supply of refined gasoline to lower prices.

Couldn’t the US retained that independence, even extended it using cleaner fossil fuel tech all the while looking to provide a sustainable and less expensive renewable source?

Instead the middle class pays through the nose, China and India burn more coal and US imports a reduced supply of dirtier oil from our enemies.

It’s called a lose lose proposition. But Grandholm laughs?
