Bowl Affiliations Moving Forward
Some bowls are tied in through 2025

If Conference USA adds enough teams (get to at least 12), the league will likely keep a bulk of its direct tie-ins that would've gone to the Sun Belt or AAC. AAC will likely remain the same while the Belt's two direct tie-ins would indicate a significant bowl deficit for a league with 14 FBS members. ESPN will either create a couple of new bowls for them or pull a couple out of their Gang of 5 selection lottery to specific to the Sun Belt.

Wonder if there's a clause that allows some of these contracted bowls to abruptly change affiliations due to realignment? Would seem likely, but if CUSA fully replenishes, would it be totally necessary?
