I suppose if UL-Lafayette wasn't a Top 25 team according to at least one poll I wouldn't start the topic off with it. Congrats on being Slum Belch West Division champs. Good job. Hopefully all of your players are academically eligible this time.


Edit: Also, if you look at "Other Scores Week 9" topic you'll notice that Louisiana-Lafayette wasn't mentioned until your commie boy, FrankyP, decided to drop your team's score on our forum. So why didn't I mention your game then? You were unranked. You were playing on a Saturday with other, much better programs playing at the same time. You were playing against a pathetic Southwest Texas State team, losers to 1-AA Incarnate Word, in a lopsided game. It wasn't of any interest for the topic at the time.

Arizona and Cal knotted at 0-0 at the half. Wildcats lead in first downs (11-2), total yards (179-66), and turnover committed (2-0).

Arizona is trying to break a 20-game losing streak--the longest active streak in the nation--while Cal is trying to win despite having a undisclosed number of players out due to COVID protocol, which judging from this game so far is probably quite a few.

Is Purdue going to do Cincy a favor and dish a loss to #3 Michigan State? Spoilermakers up 21-7 in the 2nd.

And UNC-Chapel Hill defeating #9 Wake Forest 58-55 is insurance for Cincinnati in case the next CFP poll would've put an undefeated Deacs over the Bearcats.

#9 Pretender Wake Forest loses to UNC 55 - 58.

It's going to get much harder to keep Cincy out of the playoff.

Cincy hasn't looked very dominating in the past 3 weeks, which is something that's expected for a CFP semifinalist against the teams they played over that period. They will be heavily tested against SMU on 11/20 and will likely draw Houston in the AAC Championship Game, which will also be a challenge.

And Kentucky, who started the season 6-0 for the first time in 71 years has since lost 3 straight after going down 45-42 to Rocky Top.

Egad! found myself rooting for LSU! (don't tell my friends). Of course, I was really rooting against Bama. But it's not that I have something against Bama, just that I'd like to see some new blood in the CFP. Cincy is not helping themselves with these close calls.

Unfortunately, with UNLV and Arizona both winning, Florida International's 8 straight losses is the nation's longest active streak. But, it's not a streak they solely possess as both Kansas and Arkansas State have also lost 8 straight.
