I am pretty sure the starting lineup looks like this:
PG 6-2 Farrakhan
SG 6-3 Spottsville
SF 6-5 MScott
PF 6-6 Golson
C ??

You may be right, but starters dependent on how certain line-ups match-ups with opponents. Do think that Monty Scott needs to be in starting line-up to help EMU almost surely trailing early-on.

Although Spottsville is a good defender, I suspect Spottsville needs open looks to knock down three’s as he had in last exhibition game. Doubt that will happen playing Indiana.

Hope HOpe is choosing between Spottsville and N.Scott. With Monty Scott starting Spottsville should get more open looks.

Makes sense for EMU to start Farrakhan. M.Scott, Spottsville, and Golson, as they started and played well together in EMU’s last exhibition game.

Is EMU a donut team? Big hole in the middle?

The game has changed in my opinion. I'm not saying a talented center is undesirable but the days of requiring a Patrick Ewing, Lew Alcindor, Bill Walton, Anthony Davis, Mason Plumlee, etc... are over.

We are not playing the 2-3 zone, thus the shot blocker in the middle is no longer essential. The 3-ball dominates today's game, missed shots rebounds are more likely to be longer as a result of their launch point, the taller player will often yield to the quicker player for their collection. You saw it last year in the Championship game, Drew Timme a pure center from Gonzaga, got absolutely blitzed by smaller, quicker and more agile players from Baylor. In today's game, an active 6'8' player can embarrass yesterday's seven footer.
