Edge to JMU at home

Should be a good game. JMU is expected to be much improved, and having the new arena could very well give you the edge in this one. I think ODU will wind up being the better team over the long haul of the season, but the emotion, crowd and excitement of the rivalry in your new building is definitely an intangible that I wouldn't be shocked to see push the Dukes over the top.

Excited to watch this game, honestly.

Is JMU expected to sell out for this game?

I don't see that happening. It should be sold out when the UVA Cavaliers come to town, though.

I'm actually afraid the attendance might end up being pretty underwhelming due to the game being at 4 while there's a football game at 3:30.

Like Bill said, we'll sell out for UVA. Selling out ODU will take some time of winning to bring the fans back.

We'll be watching if JMU tries to suit up Culucko for a last-minute heave from the corner.

ODU also has afternoon FB game. I know the group I travel with are not going, catch you 2023 are sooner.

I would have guessed at least a close sell out for ODU on a Saturday.

Did not realize the game was 1:1 with a football game.

I will be at the ODU round ball game because I want to see how a team with 10 guards and two forwards rebound against ODU.

First time we played was 1972. The series is currently 58-27 in ODU's favor, with JMU winning the most recent one. It will be really fun being back in the same conference again.

If you visited our board you'd know we don't have anyone over 6'2" so you'd probably feel pretty good about it. =]
