How in the world does Charlotte's accounting keep their football attendance that low? Clearly it didn't impact their ability to "move up" to the American, but it's surprising to see any school that is concerned with appearances not keeping the books in a way that puts them above that magical 15k mark.

I can promise you that JMU basketball attendance will increase at least 2x this season.

Rice does not have that attendance level. Maybe it's because they play a bunch of P5's at home and all the P5 people show up. But, when Southern Miss has played there we have routinely had about the same number of fans in the stands as them. Which is about 200-300. I've never seen a school with less fans. Ever.

At one point during the peak caa days I think that number was up on the mid 7000s if I recall one seaaon. It gets full specially when we play vcu and jmu.

This was an NCAA 2nd round game for our Women's team against UVA. Winner to the Sweet 16 where we lost to UCONN. We do love Ice Cream and Cake and our Basketball

On top of that, Lou Rowe's teams drove attendance in to the ground worse than I can ever remember it in my life. He never should've been hired and the longer he went without getting fired the more people checked out.

I believe Rice counts attendance like Tulane. Every student gets tickets to every game, it’s included in their tuition. So instead of counting student attendance they just add the student body count to the total as if all students attended.

Charlotte only seats 15k at 100%. I’ve been to 4’games there and have never seen it over 60-65% full and that’s with 1,500 Marshall fans there.
