I know I’ve seen enough, team has become worse every season under Candle.

RE: BLOW OUT THE CANDLE
Hopefully the new AD will have the guts to get rid of Candle. This coach is a disaster.

At this point, it's best to root for this team to lose so they'll find an excuse to make a change.

“CCSUblue said:
I'd definitely prefer Alex Grinch if we're talking about Mount Union. Or Jason Candle. He needs a change of scenery before he becomes stagnant and old hat. But Mount Union or rather Larry Kehres, seems to be able to breed coaches.

Nick Sirianni went to Mount Union. His brother Mike coaches Washington and Jefferson and he went to Mount Union. Iowa States OC Tom Manning (who despite no HC experience, I would hire) went to Mount Union.”

Should we tell them.

I like Candle. You all had about 700 yards of offense.

Great. Hire him to be your offensive coordinator (please).

I would do that in a heartbeat, but that is probably a minority opinion.

We were fortunate — out-gained by a lot, and turnovers tend to be random. That said, all wins are good wins.

RE: BLOW OUT THE CANDLE
Cause of concern (there are a myriad but this one really stood out tonight)...witnessed a pissing contest on the UT sideline between two of our coaches and a couple of our defensive players. The coaches were screaming and cursing them out, telling them to sit the f**k down. The players showed a complete act of disrespect, screaming right back and not listening to them. It was an embarrassing look for our program. This happened after the Rockets had let up a TD and were losing momentum.

Candle is f**king clueless as an FBS head coach.

Yes to the minority opinion.

Don't know if any of you watched the game on TV, but the color guy said at the start of the game, "...they love Jason Candle in Toledo!"

I about fell out of my rocking chair!

Candle is a really good OC. I think he just needs to return to that role somewhere.

Yep, caught that.

The same guy also said at one about Finn that “he doesn’t really want to be a running QB, be he can do it if he had to”.

Clearly not much research being done by these announcers…just “plug & play”.

Candle has saved me some $$$$$, no bowl this year. I thought after ND we would go undefeated now it looks like not another win. BG is good and ready for us.

Agree that there is something missing from these player away from the field. There attitude on the bench seems too casual, a lot of smiling and kidding each other and the always present "take away chain" adding to the individual focus vs. the team. Let's hope we can at least beat BG and save face in NW OH.
