New Jersey Governor’s Race Plagued by Voting Problems: Major Disruption to ‘Electronic Poll Books’ Reported

Quote:As the New Jersey governor’s race goes down to the wire on Election Day with Republican candidate Jack Ciattarelli make a strong late push to keep incumbent Phil Murphy from becoming the first Democratic governor to win re-election in over 40 years.

But as New Jersey voters head to the polls on Tuesday morning, there were reports of major disruption to the electronic voting system reported. The concerning development was reported by 101.5 FM in New Jersey.

“A new system being used at polling places around the state that cost $68 million is to blame for voting problems in the first hours of Election Day, according to one county election commissioner,” the report stated.

“Voters were reporting long lines and saying that they left before being able to vote, although paper provisional ballots are always an option,” it continued. “Voters this year for the first time are signing an electronic tablet device instead of a paper book. The device relies on an internet connection using a network program called Nighthawk.”

The state’s Division of Elections said late Tuesday morning admitted problems with the electronic pollbooks “at a small number of polling locations.”

“Most of the state’s approximately 3400 polling locations have been operating since 6 a.m. without reported incident,” a spokeswoman for the division said in response to 101.5 FM. “The affected sites have been or are being addressed. If any voters were unable to vote due to these issues, we encourage them to return to their polling location and cast a ballot.”

Board of Elections Commissioner for Monmouth County Eileen Kean said there were “definitely hiccups taking place today.”

“Yes we are having internet slowdowns and problems and we are working our way through it,” Kean said. “The problem is around the state. It’s not just a Monmouth County problem. It’s tied to the electronic poll books.”

If New Jersey voters experience issues they may cast a provisional ballot or a paper ballot. Issues can be reported to hotlines and tipped to news outlets like BeckerNews.com.

Reports of Virginia Voter Suppression Surfaces as People Turned Away From Polls Over Not Wearing Masks

Quote:According to reports from various eye-witnesses, some voting locations are turning away voters in Virginia over not wearing masks or are trying to convince others that masks must be worn at the very least.

Washington Times writer Charlie Hurt wrang the alarm bell, reporting claims from some voters that they were being troubled by people for not wearing a mask as they lined up to vote. Hurt noted in a tweet that this was indeed illegal voter suppression and reminded voters that they may vote in any polling place in Virginia, even in schools, without a mask.

American Conservative Union President Matt Schlapp also released a tweet claiming that he was told he couldn’t vote without a mask at his polling station, and noted that this might be a sly attempt by Democrats to turn away GOP voters knowing how many feel about mask-wearing.

Other eye-witnesses are saying they got into vote at their respective voting locations and voted just fine, however, if these reports are true, then there are some polling locations where Democrats are attempting to pull a fast one on Republicans.

The tactic, as Schlapp highlighted is simple. The left is very aware that the right is against mask-wearing to the point of being defiant. Their hope is that telling them they’ll have to wear a mask will make them refuse on principle and never vote in the first place. It’s a dirty trick if they are trying to pull it off.

Voters should know that this isn’t a hill they have to die on in the first place. Democrat tactics would like to see Republican voters do so and hand Virginia over to the Democrats based on a lie but it clearly states in the law that masks aren’t required to vote.

As highlighted by the Department of Elections on Virginia’s government website, it’s stated very clearly that masks are not required by the state in order to cast a vote:

No, we are encouraging voters to bring masks if they must show up in-person to vote. However, if someone is not wearing a face covering you may not turn him or her away. You may offer the voter curbside voting or offer them a face covering if you have any extra available. You cannot turn a voter away because they refuse to use a mask.

If you are confronted by a poll watcher attempting to tell you that you must have a mask to vote, remember that this is not true and report them.

If it's close in VA, I'm expecting another 3 am ballot dump.

RE: 2021 Election Day
I did my share by voting Youngkin.

Here is my best scenario:
==> Youngkin wins big by 3% or more
==> Moderate house dems in battleground districts get scared
==> No vote on the crazy social spending bill
==> Big red wave in the mid term

RE: 2021 Election Day
Virginia Democrat Poll Workers once again engaging in bullying and voter intimidation to prevent people from voting, violating law by illegally requiring masks in order to vote when no such masks are required by law:

Quote: Just got this text. They were trying to require masks at my polling place in a jurisdiction with no mask mandate in place. pic.twitter.com/WqgcyO4LYF

— Mark Hemingway (@Heminator) November 2, 2021

Democrats against free citizens votimng, once again defrauding the elections; Democrats using fire hoses next to stop voters from voting against lying Democrats?

Quote: There have been several reports from voters who say they were told by poll workers that they are required to wear a mask in order to vote.

To be clear, if someone is not wearing a face covering they may NOT be turned away or refused their right to vote. pic.twitter.com/bvLzWA7m26

Democrats got away with massive election fraud last year, looks like some are trying again to steal elections and disenfranchise voters. Not surprising for the communists to try to keep the steal alive. Honorable Owls should be as one furious that one of own is being discriminated against.

2021 Election Day
Voted this AM without incident, plenty of No Masks in attendance.

Only hiccup being when I asked about the current vote count to that point to see how turnout has been, wait for it to tally, I’m voter number 666…

Just said Of course I am. Threw up my hands and got on outta there.

Seriously tho, that # by that time is very good turnout, it’ll pick up bigly late afternoon/evening. I like our chances.

I assume Virginia is a lost cause. It has moved from purple to deep blue. Plus they have a ton of mail-in ballots. I am not holding my breathe

Youngkin is probably the best GOP candidate I’ve seen in Virginia. If he doesn’t win today, there is no hope in Virginia.

Having said that, I feel optimistic. He ran a really good campaign.

NOVA is now like Chicago, the precinct bosses on Loudon, Fairfax, etc will wait for results from south and west parts of state before determining how many votes to generate. It's basic algebra solve for X using variables H = harvested ballots and P = provisional ballots included in final counts.

Sounds great until the mail in ballots are counted. This will end up as a 6-10 point victory for the Dems.

Sad thing it shouldn't be close. But our media is awful and the people never question why things suck.

When confidence in the vote is gone nothing is left for our country.

SO UNfairfax county is delaying their reporting for early vote counts until later... I'm sure after south and west VA have reporting 100% of their votes.

Youngkin is competitve at 47% in Loudoun. Let’s wait for Fairfax. If he gets upper 30% there, that will be hugh.

Very creepy Fairfax is delaying early vote count results for unspecified reasons.

And Youngkin is LEADING in Chesterfield county 54-45. In 2020 Trump lost there by almost 8 percent.
