Am I the only one who thinks the audio coming to/from commercial is bush league? Sounds like something out of the 70's and AM radio

I’m not listening but this is generally how I feel about all of our stuff. We’ve been left in the dust. We had a glimpse of how social media could be used during Rob’s interim run as coach. Higher quality appealing videos that were the best thing I’ve ever seen out of this department. I believe the girl who had a lot to do with them was an intern or something. She should have been hired full time. Could be wrong about who was responsible but clearly they left.

This is so important to programs today and we are largely asleep at the wheel or putting students in charge who are doing their best but need more vision/experience. I hate to b!tch but we’re left behind. Campbell, Elon, coastal etc. are all miles beyond us in branding/ production content via social media.

Edit: Winning helps. I get that. But even the preseason stuff is so soft man. Watch Appalachian state’s branding via video production and social media. It will give you chills.

It’s the same music in:out of commercial we have used for the games for many many years

RE: 2022 Coach Siddle Call in Show
This call in show should be marketed as a podcast too

They had less than 10 people watching on the FB feed and very few people are going to hunt down a facebook link to watch on demand.

Create a podcast feed so this show can be listened to on demand more easily

I listened and really enjoyed the show. Wow! It really sounds like we have some serious talent on the team that are great young men too!

Your question?

Found it a little silly to do a player of the week given we haven't played a game

Maybe it's a part of the team building process.

It's sponsored, so i'm sure it's about the $$ to have to get it in.

Whatever it is, let's not make an issue out of something so trivial to us. But just maybe something positive for the team.

Not really an issue, just stating it seems odd that is all.

Your word was "silly". I don't see silly if Siddle is doing things to try and bring a team with many new faces together. And they did play a practice game with Hampton. Maybe that's where he earned the award.

Maybe a poor choice of words? Mike V just referenced what he did last year when talking about it. How was the vibe in person? Good turnout. I heard them reference a question you had asked.

Not big crowd today, but decent. The sound system was louder than it has been in the past. But still people chattering and socializing, not paying attention to a word that was said.

Wasn't much on Fb live either. I watched about the first 20 min live, then had to drop for a work call and went back later to watch the rest
