With BG upsetting Buffalo, it is virtually down to Kent State and Miami for the MAC East.

Buffalo now has 3 conference losses (Kent State holds tiebreaker) as well.

Kent State and Miami have one loss each. This means that as it stands Kent State can lose one more non Miami conference game (not hoping for that) and still head to Detroit, as long they beat Miami.

Seems odd we are 5 point favorites.

Looking forward to Wednesday. Especially after the last Wednesday night game we had and could attend. Would especially be nice if we can win the next 2, and go into Infocision as bowl eligible and run a victory lap on the Zips. (We'll see about that.)

We need a consistent game. We've had extra time to get rid of the mental mistakes that we had at Athens. If we're coming in the season touting "MAC Championship" then we need need to pull off wins like this.
Plus I can't take a Thursday as defeating as today is.

OU helping us out. Basically now we just need to win 1 of the next 2 to give ourselves a chance going into the last game. If Miami wins their next two, then we could go 1-2 or 2-1 and the final game would be the MAC East champion game.

Ohio wins making this game vs NIU even bigger.

Miami and NIU fans rooting for them. Everyone who cares at all will be rooting for us. I wish that mattered.

Two thoughts:

*Kent should be able to score tonight.

^axeme- I was sad to learn that Miami’s remaining home games are on Tuesday nights. Was hoping to parlay a couple nights at Hueston Woods with a trip to Yager Stadium.

Well, I guess the money games didn't help us get mentally prepared for a big game. Our mistakes per play of offense is roughly 1 right now.

Not looking great so far, gave up a wide open bomb, dropped a couple balls, a couple penalties and then the punt downed at the 1 changed to a touchback. Still only down 7-0, let’s get a hold and get the offense clicking.

The defense should feel disrespected that they went for it on 4th and 1 at their own 30 in the first quarter.

Interested to see Jordan Love starting for the Packers, considering Crum outplayed him greatly in the bowl game.

We're incredibly lucky it's only 7-0. We need to put together s drive now.

Our defense loves to look like a sieve on tv.

I don’t like when teams crank out new unis with colors other than their traditional colors, but these jerseys look sweet tonight.

Third and 1 and we throw a long pass out on the flat for a loss of 3…SMH

This offense has been pitiful tonight, given good field position and did nothing with it, time to get the chains moving.

What do you mean man? The unis are sick. I always play better in drip gear.

Just make sure you have someone screaming that “it’s third down” and that you play awful rap music before the game. We can’t lose if those stars align.
