Wasn't Richmond's quarterback out for awhile?
Possibly, but that won't matter to the guys picking the playoff field. They will just see a bubble team who's last game was a loss at home to the 2nd worst team in the CAA.

Delaware is a needed win
JMU is a nice to win
Richmond is a must win

What the Richmond game will be depends entirely on what happens in the prior two games. If the Tribe beats Delaware and JMU then, no, the Richmond game is not a must win.

Can you imagine the disappointment of beating JMU and following that with a Richmond loss. We would be staring at a CAA championship with wins at UD and JMU. Brutal

Injuries aside, is Huesmann on the hot seat after the season, or are they pleased with the direction of things?

If we want a guaranteed spot in the playoffs and a home playoff game, they’re probably all must wins.

Anything less puts our fate in someone else’s hands.

If we beat JMU and either Delaware or Richmond then we are a lock for the playoffs plus would get a home game assuming the AD submits the appropriate bid.

My impression is that he's very much on the hot seat.

RE: Game 9: @ Delaware
So, Delaware makes it to the semis of the FCS last spring, but this fall their fanbase is totally down on the program and want Rocco gone. The only thread about today's game on the GoHens site is a thread about the fact that there is no game thread or discussion about the game. Full throttle, stay focused, and pin them down, guys. Go Tribe!

All gas no brakes. Run run run and pass occasionally. It’s the game plan that works for us.

Believe I just heard the broadcast say that Delaware is down Thyrick Pitts, their best receiver.

RE: Game 9: @ Delaware
We do need to be able to hit some passes beyond the line of scrimmage. Otherwise, it is going to get very congested in there.

Ugh. That punt return was going nowhere, and instead of giving it up Imoh kept fighting and fumbled.
