clealry the game isnt on... who uses pregame band performances for attendance gages????????

That was half time.

It's pregame. The game started at 6 PM, sunset was at 6:36.

Attendance was 25,676 which is about what it looked like according to espn

It was down from what you’d expect this game to draw. But there’s a lot of factors. Halloween, astros, apathy, covid etc.

Will take time to wake the fan base back up but they’ll come if dana wins.

It would be useful to at least check out the atmosphere of this game as many, many, programs have not hosted an opponent like this recently.

Houston, my home team, has hosted a few top 5 teams in the recent past but not many AAC teams get the opportunity to do so.

For any Tulane or Smu or previous CUSA fans wondering about the P5/G5 divide I want you to tune into tomorrow’s event.

Take note.

Ponder to yourselves if your team was the #2 team in the country is THIS the kind of publicity and celebrity you would like your team to receive?

This is the true issue with the G5 and AAC.

The game hasn’t even been played yet and I can already tell you this game vs the #2 team in the country won’t make waves. No pun intended.

It will at the very best be a game Cincinnati hopes is never remembered.

This is sad. These are the facts of being a member of the AAC.

At best you dream that half your wins will not be remembered; that people will focus on your undefeated record and not WHO you defeated.

TLDR: Frick you Tulane. I hope you drop to DII it’s all you deserve we have too many DI teams and you aren’t worthy.

Take your “SEC” championships and stick them up your ass.

All you have ever been to this league is a nothing to win everything to lose game year over year.

You can’t fill your stadium. Rice is better than you and that will come out soon - so even of the “suck ass but smart” programs you won’t be number one soon.

You were and are a waste of space in this league.

Marshall would have been better. Southern miss, UNT, UTSA, all better people to travel to than freaking Tulane.

Your fans need to switch to LSU or literally any other team.

Please abolish this team and those like it.

Down vote me to oblivion, I don’t care but it’s a disgrace the number 2 team in the country is about to go visit this school and like I said, at best, hopes it’s a game to never be remembered.

This is why we are telling UTSA, FAU, Charlotte they need to make better facilities.

Because the American IS good enough to produce these caliber teams.

And when they do, we don’t want to see them on national TV playing against this ****.

Incoherent and never once made anything close to a point as to why facilities and attendance matter. Good job on demonstrating the quality of the education you received at HU.

Lmfao. 25K at 6-1 vs a top 25 conference opponent for the championship game race.
