side note is that uconn fans cant tell the difference between baseball brands and football brands
ive seen countless uconn fans brag abou theirr schedule..and you look at hte schedule and it mostly terrible teams who have good basketball brands
....yet our indy schedule is still better than an AAC football schedule. There is a 0% chance that UConn makes this move. 0%
Well that's subjective and your opinion. I wouldt trade Memphis schedule for yours. Plus you are gonna get that arse beat early, hard and often. Enjoy building that rivalry with Liberty.
Bless your heart

geno already confirmed the big east had rejected UConn for years before saying yes... the aac gave uconn a home when no one else would
uconn fans while in the aac blamed the aac for its failures, which makes no sense at all.. a weaker league should have meant more wins not more losses....
UConn fans said they couldn't recruit in the AAC, ignoring the uconn recruited 4 and 5stars in the AAC... and Houston and Memphis are recruiting at an elite level in the aac .
sampson was asked about the "recruiting bump" in the big 12.. he said there was none..he said this was big for the fans, but not the big for the staff.. "programs" recruit not conference.. a houston the program as it is now could recruit in any league
uconn fans said they were being stripped of their linear exposure in the aac tv deal and put on espn+, they nonstop ranted about it, and their AD put out a statement of disappointment with espn+ ... ESPN's president flat said they were willing to sublicense uconn games to sny and that wasnt an issue..which uconn fans ignored
--random fact tons of aac espn+ games get sublicensed to local networks, their complaints made no sense
uconn fans said their football would thrive outside of the aac as an infy...uconn football since leaving has become a mem for absolute worst team in college football..
*some* uconn fans said the rumors than uconn wanted football-only were a lie, uconn wanted nothing to do with the aac ..despite credible sources saying otherwise..but right now uconn is considering an invitation from a considerable worse c-usa
then uconn fans come here every now and then with their horrible fans takes that go against what credible sources are saying and saying to believe them over credible sources, even though they have a clear vendetta against the league and aren't credible with their bias
Re bolded.
UCONN was one of 3 forer BE teams (USF and Cincy the others) who would have been among the 'original' AAC teams. We did not give the a home, but we made their home so uncomfortable in both sports, that they chose to run out the door.
the big east were down to 3 teams meaning the league could have easily dissolved and a million other scenerios but all of the league including new members made a league where they could have thrived if they had good coaches
We also didnt make them run out that's nuts to say .. again they applied for the big east multiple times but got rejected they were trying to leave from the start
You are doing the same thing the non-sensical UConn fans do, blame the AAC for program problems...
What made them "uncomfortable" was the fact they were losing..how is that the league's fault
Or their last complaint. The AAC tv deal would make them lose their linear... ESPN+ games can be sublicensed to local networks and regularly happens

They are on deaths bed now as a conference and if WKU and MTSU leave for MAC than there is no way the conference survives. You can dig a 6 foot hole to bury the conference in.
Also it makes no sense for UCONN to go to CUSA. Chances of this happening are a hard 0%. As down as their program is now, there are still much better off as an indy for football. They are an attractive team to schedule a 1:1 with, the evidence of that is in their ability to schedule good teams. For those scheduling UCONN it looks an easy win given their current state, and still an FBS team.
Supposedly UCONN will be making a big investment with a new coach / assts that makes them more competitive and if they turn it around they have a shot to have some exciting wins against decent teams with their upcoming schedules.
Their brand is basketball and the truth is they are much better off in Big East for basketball.
they would have already rejected them, and released a statement of beng happy as an independent if it was 0%...
it "unlikely" but "0%" is too low
and again people like to act like UConn gives up its entire indy schedule.. noncons in a conference are a thing...uconn gets to keep its top 4 games scheduled.. remove the top 2 or 3 games in their schedule and their schedule really aren't that good
i also dont get how you can say uconn has it easy scheduling..they need multiple games for 2023 - 2026 and most of the nation has already filled its schedule.. uconn is targetting all the byu cancelled games (ie usf).. if byu didnt join the big 12 theyd have almost no options
Well you are right. UCONN has confirmed it.

I really thought UCONN was serious about their football program. Proven wrong again. To go from Fiesta Bowl to this is nothing short of total mismanagement and absurdity. Shocked.
