Cry More, Franky. Cry more. It was the decision of Louisiana Tech University to come to Conference USA when a spot was open. It is not the responsibility of any individual associated with a member of Conference USA to make the Suck Belt sound like a dream conference or to glorify any of that league's member schools.
More deflection. Way to not address how you added hyphens that don’t exist, just to feed your sick obsession.

We keep answering your question but you don't like it so you continue with the stupid witch hunt. Go suck on an onion back at the Sunbelt board.
Oh. So much (misdirected) anger there.

Not to worry though. Sicem provided the answer (see post #68 on this very thread) I was looking for, which BTW also completely contradicts the false narrative that you and all the other LTU posters have been trying to push. He pulls for the wrong team, lol, but at least he is an honest person who doesn’t turn a blind eye to what everyone else can plainly see.

Have a nice day. It is a beautiful fall day here in Laughfeyette, Cajun Nation and the SBC!

Peace out.

The incessant pestering about trivial BS from folks who aren't even members of this conference. What is it with all the ULL trolls who jump in and ruin any thread that involves Tech. You post the same drivel over and over. Its very stalkerish of you. Anger is a strong word. I just want the CUSA board back from the sunbelt people who keep coming over here and posting false narratives until they are blue in the face.

Well, they do have a strong 11-4-2 record against the UL-Lafayette Cajuns.

Yes. It as unlikely as that would’ve seemed just a short while ago it looks like it probably will happen. Congrats to them!

Solid info. They will be an easy bus ride for Latex. Gotta save those dollars. You know, you can bus down there and never even get on Interstate highway.

Hi, Cranky-P.

How did U-of-L - Lafayette do this week in football? The Ragin'-Cajuns played on Tuesday, right?

I should also add that while he is mired in misery and hate, we are having the times of our lives! Happy doesn’t begin to cover it. Even elation falls somewhat short of describing the emotional state of all of the SBC, Cajun Nation and myself are feeling! And that goes for any day day of the week, from Sunday-Saturday!

What could have been if you had only been indifferent to SBC western members the last 20 years.

Who said they were? Appalachian State hasn't been Division 1-A for that long, so who are you to say? Or maybe you're just a follower instead of a free thinker?

Thanks, the Sunbelt hate comes straight from the mouths of ULL and ULM posters. They have created that monster. Tech fans as a whole respect the hell out of the Sunbelt and what they have done as a conference. They have strong leadership which CUSA has lacked. Tech chose its own path which wasn't intended as a slight to others. Just because you don't do what others want you to do doesn't mean that you don't respect them.

We can all agree with that based upon the results. Nothing I've posted is a lie based on the conversations I've had, but you aren't going to believe that, so this is my last post on the subject.

I sat in the room on the FBS study committee when our AD, Charlie Cobb, referred to the SBC as a glorified FCS conference in 2012. I cringed then as I knew that may be our best option. I'm glad we were able to walk that back and repair those relationships. Sometimes people say stupid stuff and later find out they may need them.

We may need WKU, MTSU, etc. some day and I hope your schools make the best of what remains. Good luck repairing CUSA.

Sun Belt East schools wanted schools from the East. Troy wanted schools from the East so they could move West and build rivalries with USA and USM. ULM and UL were pushing for Tech to get an invite. With the Eastern schools and Troy referring additions in the East, Tech didn’t have the votes.

That’s the story. It had nothing to do with sticking it to Tech. It was about schools looking out for their best interests and the conference teams supporting each other

“Pushing” is exaggerated and better term would be brought them up in conversation so they can “play nice” when asked about it in public. This is like your neighbor attempting to join the country club. “I put in a good word for you but the votes weren’t there” when you had no intention to add them.
