Does this board...
...start a new thread for most every thought, multiple times, instead of continuing in a related thread?

Sensing a pattern:) Some newbies will love this big time. Ok, some will hate it too (due to lack of work focus)

That's a new trend this since the new adds but hey we'll cut everyone some slack. Everyone's excited and rightfully so! Hopefully won't last forever though haha.

Its mostly an increased activity thing. Board Activity has nearly doubled over the past couple weeks, and its leading to discussions getting buried quickly. Our guys aren't used to searching an entire page to see if a topic has been discussed, only the first few threads.

Likewise, the merge thread feature is broken, so we can't do anything about it as mods, other than close the thread.

I do agree we need to start more "official" threads on certain issues that way we don't get 1,000 different post discussing the same exact thing.
