They’re just coming off a 1 touchdown win over 1-7 Ohio. Ohio is really struggling this year, wowwwww. Flashes are 4-4. Two of their wins are over FCS opponents. We really need to impose our will against them.

Actually Kent State's only win over an FCS opponent is VMI.
lost 41-10 at Texas A&M
def VMI 60-10
lost 30-7 at Iowa
lost 37-16 at Maryland
def. BGSU 27-20
def. Buffalo 48-38
lost 64-31 at WMU
def. Ohio 34-27
And VMI isn't a bad FCS program, sporting a 5-2 record and a member of the Southern Conference, which is Division I in all sports but FCS for football.
Yes, the Flashes are 4-4 but they are also 3-1 in MAC divisional play and after hosting NIU, they visit CMU and Akron, before a finale at home versus Miami. You can beat they're aiming to become bowl eligible. Every conference road game can be a difficult one. Doesn't matter if "we impose our will" against them as much as simply getting a "W". When this season is over, more people will talk about how we should have done better against Wyoming than which of our victories included "imposing our will." From Mallory to Novak to Kill to Doeren to Hammock, or from McDougal to Hammel to Burno, the best coaches will always tell you to respect your opponent. If you don't, then you cheapen your own victories.

Kent State might have an even worse defense than the Huskies. They are giving up 474 yards per game, which is last in the MAC, and only Akron has given up more TDs. To be fair, they are tied with NIU for second most TDs given up. This may be a classic #MACtion game with lots of scoring and no defense.

For some reason I thought I saw Howard University as one of their wins. My eyes must’ve been playing tricks on me. You were right. Google shows their schedule all weird. It shows Some of their past season schedule. Anyways, beat Kent State!!!

Just to continue with the silly rating games here is Sagarin and Sagarin recent which is probably a better indicator of how the team is playing. Here is us and our future opponents:
NIU 87/72
WMU 69/88
BSU 79/65
Kent 99/87
Buf 97/102
So Sagarin is saying BSU should be the toughest game. But of course the Rockets should be in the MAC drivers seat with ratings of 67/71.
