Until then, it’s almost impossible to turn down generational money like that.

Sorry to throw cold water but they'd rather gouge their eyes out than be in a conference with "little brother" from across the river. I know that administration and their fans.

I hate to leave some old rivalries from C-USA, but are looking forward to be a part of the Sun Belt in the future. Hopefully we can get our act back together soon in football and basketball.

The only way we ever go to 16 is if the AAC loses Memphis and SMU to the Big 12 and a couple of teams like ECU, USF, UAB, UTSA, or even UNT want to come over. Even that wouldn;t happen for a while as they have too much money to lose with all of the exit fee's and current TV deal.

As for what is JSU, probably a football team Tx State could beat. Hope that helps your feelings. We suck badly just ask Sam.

UTEP and Louisiana Tech to the WAC for Olympic sports, Indy for football until the WAC becomes FBS.
FIU to the ASUN for Olympic sports, Indy for football until the ASUN moves up.

That makes more sense than cobbling together some zombie version of CUSA. NMSU has that set up with the WAC currently.

Stay at 14, continue to grow the brand. The formula is and has been working the last few years. Let CUSA what's left rot, and allow the AAC to play markets the same way that CUSA tried. We all know none of the "market" teams move the needle in any of the markets they exist in, it's bound to implode once again.
