After some of the "go for it on fourth" vs "get the field-goal and move on" madness of last season, I was not a big fan. However, I have had the opportunity to meet him, talk to him face-to-face on two occassions and hear him speak on three occassions. And, I am now a believer! I have scratched my head a couple of times this year with regard to the play calling/decisions (e.g. going for 2 points in the first half...with no real justification); however, I believe he knows what he's doing! GO COOGS! LET'S GO BOWLING!!!

I just wanted it to be out there that Prettyricky isn't some bandwagon Art Briles supporter... I've publicly pulled for the guy through thick and thin.

RE: Art Briles
This is one of the worst days of my career as a cougar fan. I mean I cant fault Art for opting to double his salary with the stroke of a pen (hell who wouldnt do that), but this really takes the rose colored glasses I wore off.

I used to think a non-bcs could compete with a bcs if they hired the right guy, but now I see even the lowlyest of bcs teams can snatch the right guy away because of this system of athletic apartheid.

RE: Art Briles
It takes a series of the right guys like what Louisville did. First the had John L Smith, then they hired Petrino.

If we hire the right guy, we won't miss a beat next year.
