Thank you to alot of you fans from these schools who are staying, thank you to alot of the fans who leaving to go to the AAC.

Back in 2012 my wife died suddenly from an asthma attack. We had a five month old son and I was scared to death. When I told the members on here about what had happened there was a huge out pour of support.

It wasn't So. Miss vs East Carolina or So. Miss vs Marshall it was humanity, the very best part of humanity. I've always appreciated the way I was treated on this board, how some of you asked how I was doing or about my son.

In closing I wish the fans from everyone of these 14 schools the best of luck moving forward in your personal lives and in the lives you share as fans of these amazing programs.

I never knew that about your family. I didn't get to the C-USA board until the 2013 expansion. But I agree. the fans on here are wonderful people, and yes we can argue some sports, but they have good hearts and care about each other. I wish you and your family the best, and I hope USM will be happy with their move to the Sun Belt.

I have not been the biggest fan of this realignment crap and you can ask other UAB posters about my angst of all of this. But I honestly feel USM is now where they belong with a bunch of like minded schools and cultural makeup. I wish the Eagles and their fans nothing but the best moving forward and I for one hope that UAB and USM will continue to play against one another down the road.
