If this source is real, it is the first to definitively say that Sun Belt will be going to 4, with JMU most likely being one of them. Also the announcement part is interesting as well. This would kill C-USAs hopes for JMU, Liberty, ODU, Marshall

From what I understand, it seems like Marshall and ODU are going. USM already committed. Waiting to find out if the 4th is WKU or JMU.

Can we get these schools to hold the breaks until C-USA responds by adding schools to help UTEP, FIU and La. Tech out? Same thing happened to the WAC before, but we saw how the left behind schools got hurt by all of this. This is actually hurting college sports with what is going on as well.

I don't really understand the rush either but at the same time if you drag it out it makes scheduling harder. Most of our schools have schedules filled (at least in football) already for 2-3 years out at minimum. So if you make the decisions quickly it gives everyone time to react over the next 1-2 years to get things landed smoothly.

The departing schools aren’t incentivized to hold anything. If C-USA folds, exit fees go away.
