AAC most likely or still New CUSA?

AAC 2.0 is 2005 CUSA

If the MWC isn't the new enemy then the Sun Belt failed to capitalize on their newfound power, courtesy of Ol' Karl Benson. If the C-USA or AAC are an issue, at least in football, we've failed.

This is true...after the top of the AAC goes to the Big 12 it will be a dog fight between the AAC (due to keeping Memphis and SMU for now), the SBC and MWC to see which team gets the NY6 spot. If Cincinnati doesn't make the playoffs this year you'll probably never see a G5 team in the playoffs (in it's current 4 team format)

CUSA is going to have a real hard time staying out of last place in the G5 - especially if Marshall is in the SBC.

There’s no guarantee the playoff expands at all. Conference commissioners have hit the brakes on that discussion since OU and Texas announced their intentions.

CUSA: I feel sorry for UTEP and WKU. Not at all sorry for La. Tech. No feelings for FIU or MTSU. They're just kinda there.

AAC: I would feel very comfortable if they fail.

MAC & MW: Just want to beat them in bowl games & nonconference games. Don't care how they do vs. any other league.

P5: The enemy.

Whichever teams' fans are most annoying on message boards at the moment. Outside the Belt, of course.

AAC=CUSA 4.0

Even if CUSA dies, AAC is just the new CUSA. We absolutely have to go against them as much as possible and have a record similar to what we have against CUSA now. After 3-4 years of beating their brains in, we can turn our sights on the MWC.

App has 3 games left on the ECU contract and a 4 game series with UNCC starting 2026.

Love for ADDG to sign a contract with Memphis and/or USF.

but it will mostly be laughter coming from this side when they start barking "P6! P6! P6!" despite consistently being ranked behind the SB in all metrics.

I know y’all are talking conferences, but I feel like Marshall immediately becomes the villain if they get their way with 14.

We will talk bad about you "making demands" until you get in, but once you ARE in you will be family. In the Sun Belt there are NO enemies. Rivals abound, but we fight like siblings here, not like strangers.

The one thing that assures that Louisiana Tech will not be invited to the family is that as an institution they have consistently self-identified as enemies of the SBC and all the teams in it over a span of nearly 20 years. It is generally a very bad idea to invite a viper to sleep in your house.

I believe most App State fans are very pleased with this 14. I wanted this exact grouping from the beginning. All we need now is ECU.
