I think S&C under O’Mary is paying huge dividends. Everything I’ve heard about his approach and intensity has been over the moon positive - from staff and players.

Bullpen has given it up. Tied now and the winning run at 2nd.

Tribe gets out of it. Going to extras.

Walk off three run home run. Game over and now we're 3-1. Lots of runs given up today by the pitchers today who pitched well over the weekend.

I was at the game yesterday for the first six innings. The wind was blowing to left field and the Williamson, Thomas, and Delossantos homers were absolute bombs and one of Winters’s doubles just missed clearing the fence by a foot and a half - glad to see WM doing damage by swinging the bats. Freshman Danos made an incredible backhanded dive at shortstop. Lovasz looked good, really pounding the bottom of the zone. Prosperi looked fine, everything cutting and diving. Hogarth, the number three hitter, showed bunt each time which I thought was interesting. Glad WM tacked on a bunch of runs after I left; last I saw it was 11-9, Lafayette was getting fired up, WM was playing tight, and both teams were getting chippy.

Also at the game yesterday. Team really snapped out of two-game batting slump with some robust, aggressive hitting.

The four home runs were really tattooed with one soaring over the fence and on to the lacrosse field where we were playing Maryland. Had to be well over 400 feet.

Good early season crowd near 400 folks who were really into the game.
