Finally a CEO With Both a Conscience and a Spine
Living in Colorado, I was so perplexed when it seemed everyone was so excited that In-N-Out Burger was opening several outlets here. That we have so many Californians here was the reason, as it is a San Francisco based chain. I tried it once. The food was good but nothing earth shattering.

Quote:San Francisco In-N-Out Forced to Close After Not Enforcing Vaccination Checks

A San Francisco In-N-Out Burger was temporarily shut down after employees did not check for customer vaccine documents, in violation of the city’s mandate.

The restaurant located in Fisherman’s Wharf was forced to shut down on October 14 but has since reopened with indoor dining remaining unavailable, the company said in a statement to Newsweek.

“We refuse to become the vaccination police for any government,” he said. “We fiercely disagree with any government dictate that forces a private company to discriminate against customers who choose to patronize their business. This is a clear government overreach.”

The company believes it is “unreasonable, invasive, and unsafe to force our restaurants to segregate customers into those who may be served and those who may not, based on the documentation they carry.”

The San Francisco Department of Public Health told Newsweek that they informed the business about the requirement “multiple times” after receiving a complaint from the city’s 311 service line.

Sounds like Karen called to complain.

Pay attention to his words - THIS is how you do it.

The food is good but not great. I always ate at an In-N-Out every time I went to California because the service was so good.

Love in and out burger. Christian company so I am not overly shocked (at least the owner).

It must be different from restaurant to restaurant. We called it “Monster Style” at ours in Westminster. I know it’s “Animal Style” in Vegas.

Elaborate on what those mean - what do you get when you order it that way?

Animal style = burger patties are fried in mustard and they add grilled onions, extra sauce.

For animal style fries they’ll just dump a bunch of grilled onions and sauce on top (fries are served in a tray). Pretty decadent.

In n Out is good but IMO doesn’t measure up to the hype (and isn’t worth the usually very long lines), but the grilled onions elevate it above the other fast food drive thru guys.

I've only moved far enough west to get Whataburger. Never had In-N-Out before.
