Exclamation Schedule setting up well down the stretch
The late bye week is looking better and better. We have two extra days to prep for UCF (with them coming off of Cincinnati). We then have our bye and some extra rest before we host SMU (with them coming off of Houston). We also have an extra rest day before hosting Tulane.

UCF is the big game, yes because it is next but more because of their recent history with us

They won those 4 in a row with their best teams ever. One of those was on overtime on the road. Tragic. One of those was a 1 point loss at home when a possible if not likely game winning TD run was called back by penalty. 1 saw a 17? Point Memphis lead on the road disappear when a few horrendous calls shifted momentum

The following year Memphis went 12-2 beating Cincy twice not facing a UCF team we were better than

Last year a great comeback by Memphis and as it turns out we were better

We are better now. Not giving this one away will do a lot for the further. Play smart, win

I agree the UCF game is a big one and I love beating UCF because I still want revenge for the 2017 and 2018 championship games. But I think SMU is a much better team than UCF this year and that will be a bigger game for us. We will have the advantage of playing at home and a bye week to prepare for it, but its still going to be a tough game. Need the coaches to use that bye week to do some serious game planning. Would really love to upset SMU this year.
