RE: WAC Womens Basketball Preseason Polls, Teams
Question... do we think Cal Baptist's HC voted for Grand Canyon at the No. 1 team in the WAC or for Stephen F. Austin? We all know how these things work with preseason polls and some coaches like to do things to help their team get the appropriate preseason votes.

I personally think CBU/SFA are the top two teams by far. I am looking forward to the WBB match-up there and would not be surprised if those are the two programs in the WAC championship game. Fair assessment on Sam Houston, IMO and they put the transitioning schools + Chicago State at the bottom, also not a surprise.

Surprise! I did not realize GCU had stolen/poached/recruited Amara Graham, our best player. Thought she'd finished her college career.

Wasn't there a second WAC transfer that GCU had? I remember some posts here or social media reaction and knew that GCU had someone from UTRGV. Did not realize it was an All-WAC player.

SFA is loaded from top to bottom on that roster, if they can stop beating themselves they should go far.

Cal Baptist is also a transitioning school.

Fair, but they are much further along in the process and I don't treat them as such. They are eligible for Division I postseason competition in the 2022–23 season. I believe Tarleton is 24-25 along with Dixie State, unless I am mistaken.

Yes, I believe those dates are correct. I wonder if the WAC will allow Dixie State and Tarleton to play in the tournament (assuming they qualify) like they are allowing CBU.

Yes we can participate in the conference tournament in year three, which is 22-23.
