Quote:On Oct. 7, residents of Baldwin Cottage received an email from Josh Matos, the area coordinator for Multicultural and Identity-Based Communities.
“I am reaching out to you to give you an update on the radiator project,” Matos wrote. “Starting tomorrow (Friday, 10/8) the contractors will be entering rooms between 10 a.m. and 8 p.m. to install the radiators. This will mean that they will be in your room for a period of time to complete the work.”
I had not been contacted about any sort of radiator installation before this email, so right away the word “update” stood out to me as untrue. I grew concerned reading the second line, which informed me that I had less than 24 hours to prepare for the arrival of the installation crew, and I was further perturbed by the ambiguous “for a period of time.”
In general, I am very averse to people entering my personal space. This anxiety was compounded by the fact that the crew would be strangers, and they were more than likely to be cisgender men.
Its at Oberlin. No surprise. Baldwin Cottage is a Women and Trans* Collective...
Also on the first floor is The Third World Co-op, a dining only safe space...
The best part of it all are the judgemental and sexist comments about the maintenance people "more than likely" being a man. Nothing like assuming and prejudging.
I believe I've heard all I need to.

I was going to leave a reply in the comments section but when I clicked on "leave a comment" it took me to a page that told me that comments are not published. Not published? Hell there was no place to leave any type of comment.
Anyway, those people are seriously disturbed and entitlement minded. Those of us who they will allow in are merely there to act as servile minions for them. Much like the 1% the (under) 3% feel special too.

Yep, then they'd complain that no one fixed the radiators. There's no winning with the perpetual complainers. Best to let them wallow in their own personal misery.

God forbid any "cisgender men" actually do something productive in these carpet munchers' lives. I'm with stink, let them freeze. They sh*t their bed, let them lay in it.

I always have to look these up.
A cis man, shorthand for "cisgender man," is a non-trans man—a man whose assigned sex at birth is male, and whose gender identity aligns with that typically culturally associated with his sex. This distinguishes him from trans men, shorthand for "transgender men"—men who were initially assigned a female sex at birth, but exist as men.
They should reconsider their stance. If they don’t want products and services from non-alphabet providers they are going to have a very stark existence. It’s hard to drive a water color painting performed with a pube-hair brush.

I just recall that when the Xes/Theys/Its/WTFs are using "cisgender" it's another poor attempt at a derogatory term for actual men, not pretend ones.
How are these kids going to survive in the real world? They are afraid of their own shadow FFS.....
There is a long list of occupations that you will need to encounter over your lifetime that do not have "your people" working for them. Sure hope you never need a plumber or electrician in a pinch cuz it may take too long to find an xh or xhe to assist with that kind of issue.
Isnt this the college that owes $30million to a donut shop because they called the shop owner racist for having their students who shoplifted arrested.

Sounds pretty bigoted. These people need a course to own their privilege.

So. When will there finally be segregation? Why is anyone surprised? The Democrats finally elected a Segregationist to the presidency. Amazed it took them until 2020.

Can't they just use the appropriate shorthand for all this ccis stuff?
They are normal guys. Doing normal work. Likely with the normal jeans down under their bellies. Normal radiator work. That kinda stuff.
