USA Today Coaches Poll

AP Poll

Deservedly so. They are legit.

Watched them 4 times now. They look a lot like us but with more dangerous playmakers.

Much deserved. They are really good

I know we were ranked in the BCS poll once. Did we get in the AP or Coaches Poll then?

We were in the BCS for one week in 2004 and in the coaches poll for one week in 2018

Good. I can’t wait to beat them.

After watching UTEP last night I think we're headed for the Texas version of Amen Corner

Do they count as a good opponent? I can't keep up. I think they only count if we lose but I'm not sure on their evaluation system they use.

Only if we lose to them. If we beat them they still play in the worst division of all college football and shouldn’t be proud of it.

They're good and they're ranked. Based of those facts if history is any indication UAB will not only lose this game but will probably go down by double digits. If this happens you guys will say nothing to see here and move on while telling the others it's a overreaction and you guys are beating a dead horse...lol.

Otoh, if UAB wins the sunshine pumpers will say "we told you so" and "y'all were so wrong about this team and Clark". I will say great win and this is what we've been waiting for from Clark and this team.

Hahahahaha. So true. But we really just want to be right, like what is said on BT means a ******* thing.

We need to TCB these next two homes games, same thing in WV, and then go win a big game like we should be doing. That's what good teams do. They don't lay proverbial eggs. They don't make excuses, they get it done.

We know Clark's attitude toward important conference games.
We know his attitude/performance toward top non-conference games.
What we don't know is how he will fair against ranked conference opponents... I'm guessing that if UTSA remains ranked, this will be Clark's first? Or am I missing someone?

Was FAU ranked in 2019? Not sure. Too bad Marshall soiled the bed versus Rice last year or they would have been ranked in the title game.
