RE: MAC Bowl Projections
As always the question is what’s the alternative. Would you rather play Old Dominion in the Myrtle Beach Bowl at 1:30 on a Monday because it meets your arbitrary definition of a bowl by being on ESPN?

But I also think starting before a CFP game could add to viewers as people start their parties early and need some kind of football in the background.

If it's broadcast on their YouTube channel and people are actually aware of it, people may tune in during their pregame parties. But if not (and even if so) having people causally either pull up YouTube on their tv or casually run an HDMI cord from their laptop to their tv is a stretch.

Quite presumptuous of you to assume everyone has a smart tv.

I know I don't and I'm not the only one. Also, this is the first I'm hearing of Barstool Sports having their own app for streaming content. I'm also gonna bet that I'm very much in the majority when it comes to noy knowing they have and app.

Absolutely. A twenty or thirty something who's grown up with all of this stuff may find it to be 2nd nature. A lot of us don't and would miss it as a result. It's not a right or wrong thing. It just is.

Even if you don’t have a smart TV you can get a Roku or Firestick for $35. Then search for the Barstool app. It’s an easy fix.

That's not an easy fix.

Thats an added purchase just to watch one game. If a person has cable (yes, they still exist) and they are happy with it or live in an area where streaming is tougher due to internet quality or...just don't want to switch over and stream, then buying a Roku or Firestick is an unnecessary purchase just to have access to the stupid Barstool Sports app.

I mean, I've heard it'll be available through their YouTube channel. As much of a hassle it would be for some to figure out how to watch YouTube on their tv, it's much less of hassle than buying a new piece of equipment and just to watch one game.

Especially, if we're still talking about someone having it on in the background of their CFP Playoff pregame activities.
