Agreed.

A win over JMU goes a long way too.

RE: Game 7: Towson
7-4 gets us in as long as losses are to JMU and Villanova and we are competitive in each. Blow out losses and we don't get in even if we are in 3rd place alone in CAA.

This year could be the last for JMU in Williamsburg. Would be nice to send them out with a loss. A lot of football to play before that game, but I can still dream about a 5-1 Tribe team taking on a 5-1 Pukes team in the real 'Burg for first place in the conference.

Unfortunately, we can also lose to every team left on our schedule. We lost to Maine.

Let's all (including myself) truly just take it one game at a time and concentrate on beating Villanova. Now, once we beat 'Nova, Delaware, and JMU, then we can all start going crazy with playoff scenarios.

For the team, sure. But going crazy with scenarios of all kinds is arguably the primary purpose of internet message boards.

RE: Game 7: Towson
I think it is more likely that the Tribe goes 5-6 than 9-2. I don't think the CAA will get more than 3 teams in at this point. So 7-4 isn't likely to make it.

If the Tribe can split the next 2 road games, then they would have a shot by beating JMU and Richmond. I think 6-5 is still the most likely final record. But, the Tribe has improved a decent amount since the beginning of the season. Given all the challenges of the last few years, it is exciting to have meaningful late season games.
