Those aren’t mutually exclusive. They can win the MACC this year (VALUE!) mainly due to it being a (very) down year for the MAC and continue to improve and be even better still a few years down the road, even if the chances for a MACC in those years may not even be as good as they could be this year.

Let’s call this what it is.
