The second one wasn't really on anyone. Ridder had time to throw, it was just a long developing route and the OL eventually broke down on the backside so Ridder couldn't see the man coming.

I thought on that first one it was on the back. Ford had already been pulled and I thought the back helped on someone he didn't really need to as the blitzer came free

We ran for over 300 yards yesterday.
I don't disagree. My point is when we do get into a competitive game Des' best pitch is his legs and just because we have great targets doesn't mean you don't use your QBs best pitch.

When we get into one of those games, you play call accordingly. Running him more in games like yesterday does nothing but open him up to injury.

Running Ford down their throats also let’s the naysayers in the media know that this is not a gimmick offense.

One of these games he will probably have to run the ball more, until then it’s
a good thing he doesn’t have to.

How many dropped passes were there yesterday? Dez’s stats should have been better.

They keep putting up "SOS for the remainder of the season".

Takes the Indiana and Notre Dame games out for us, and takes out all the cupcake early season games for the other schools.

Indiana isn't very good. If UC goes undefeated, the national perception of UC as playoff-worthy will depend almost entirely on ND's record.

Indiana almost beat #10 Michigan State with a freshman QB who clearly isn't ready for major college football. They are much better than their record will show.

Indiana has 4 losses - all to teams in the Top Ten. I don't think anyone has had a tougher schedule to date.
