Pitt was out of sync today but still got the win. On to Clemson.

Good win by Pitt.

Fuente’s seat is getting hotter and hotter.

Well maybe not the rear. The Pac 12 doesn't have any undefeated teams left and their highest ranked team almost lost to 1-5 Cal last night.
Beating Ohio State on the road is better than losing to Georgia on a neutral site or losing to Mississippi State on the road or losing to Western Michigan at home or being an undefeated Wake Forest beating up on a bunch of nobodies in the Tidewater.

Both conferences are bad this year. ACC has a handful of P5 wins, but none are marquee teams (Tennessee, Missouri, Illinois, Northwestern and Kansas). The PAC has a couple of impressive wins (Ohio State and LSU), but a whole lot of OOC losses. ACC needs a win against an OOC ranked team.

Someone needs to actually beat Notre Dame. Too many moral victories.

That game didn't look nearly so important before the season started. Now it would put the Panthers in the driver's seat at 3-0 with the head to head over the only Coastal team with one conference loss and could knock the Tigers out of the Atlantic race.

NC State is having their way with BC this evening. My guess would be the winner of Wake / NC State. But Wake still has to play Clemson.
