RE: Scholarship Breakdown
I had heard of grayshirting, but not blueshirting or greenshirting. I also didn't know that there were only 6 sports eligible for full scholarships. I thought sports like baseball didn't do full rides out of choice, although in retrospect that seems silly at the P5 schools.

Other sports CAN give full scholarships. They simply have a total scholarship limit and tend to break them up. The six listed, I believe, HAVE to give full rides. (Other than FCS football)

I am not an expert in this at all, but the article says "Full-ride athletic scholarships are only available in six college sports." In the section on partials, it says "The remaining sports or “equivalency sports” in NCAA Division I and II are where coach essentially have a pool of scholarship money that they can divide up amongst their team. While not a full ride, a partial scholarship offer can still cover a significant portion of college costs or very little. It may be that one student-athlete on a team gets a scholarship that covers tuition, while a teammate may only get offered a scholarship that covers the costs of books."
I took that to mean that you can get a lot covered, but not have the technical definition of a "full ride". It's probably just semantics and schools can figure out how to cover anything not covered by the partial if they want to, but in terms of giving out full scholarships, there's only 6 sports.
