#18 NU pays a visit to Chestnut Hill to face #6 BC at Conte Forum.

NU lost to BC 5-3 to fall to 2-2 on the season.

NU was down 1-0 after one period, but in the 2nd Aiden McDonough scored 2 goals to give NU the 2-1 lead. BC tied it on a PP goal to make it 2-2 at the end of the period.

They added an empty-netter to make it 5-2 before NU scored with less than 30 seconds left.

The big concern now is the health of defenseman Jordan Harris who got hurt (concussion) in the 1st period and NU had to play with only 5 defensemen. Still, it was a much better effort than the Quinnipiac loss.

It seems no one knows where he stands. In the first four games, he's been dropped for both Davenport and Gaudette.

It could be an injury or doghouse.

Oh, and BC got smoked Saturday night at Bentley 6-2... on top of their football team getting stomped by NC State!

PS. Were you watching when Harris got injured? I know I complain a lot about announcers but after the hit one of them said it should be a no call and the other one said something like, "yeah, they just got a little tangled up with each other." After reviewing the tape a five minute major was called.

Yeah I watched and that was weird on their part.

Joe Connelly later admitted that since there was no penalty called initially, during the official TV review of the play he said it would have to be a 5 minute major.

But they clearly missed Harris was slew-footed.
