When I was a kid we made our costumes. That was half the fun.

We never went trick or treating when I was a kid. We just waited on kids in the bushes and when they'd walk by we'd knock em out and steal their candy.

He went as a Democrat. Don't do the work yourself, just take from others.

Why? Plastic hadn't been invented yet? LOL

I can make fun of you because I too used to make my own costumes, that was the most fun.

I liked going as a pirate or a cowboy. One year I dressed my oldest son with a jungle rain poncho and a skeleton mask and he won a school costume contest.

I told my youngest son to make their own costumes and he just rolled his eyes. Everything has to be store bought nowadays which is stupid and not very creative.
