I thought about posting this in another thread but figured I’d annoy a few of you and give us what we need. ANOTHER REALIGNMENT THREAD.

We need to think outside of the box as a conference. What if we went ahead and expanded and sued the NCAA. The haven’t been interested in legal battles lately. A lot of our issues come from the Olympic sports. We could try to form an 18 team league where it’s two 9 team divisions. We focus on cutting travel and do not play crossover games. Football plays an 8 game conference schedule playing everyone in their division yearly. Basketball plays an 18 game schedule where we do home and home yearly. We could increase the games if we wanted at least one football game per year against the other division and same with basketball. I actually like this setup.

14 is too much....but 18 would work! People have a problem with Liberty...they hate Christians I think.

I don't want NMSU or Missouri St in the west. Give us better teams or leave it alone.

If that were true, people wouldn't want to be associated with the likes of TCU, SMU, Notre Dame, Baylor, Duke, Pepperdine, Tulsa, etc.

Candidates for the west are pretty limited. The only others I think might be interested would be Jacksonville St and Texas St.

I rather have those two. Split into north/south. We'll take all the south teams from Texas to Florida. Y'all can have everything north.

You know that Liberty would prostitute themselves and sell their souls to the AAC, if it absolutely came down to adding Liberty for the AAC's survival. They would be throwing their money around like Al Capone to every single member of that conference just to get in.

Nah they wouldn't do that. They have upheld themselves to a higher moral and ethical standards by not hiring a sleezebag coach and a questionable AD. Their academics are AAU and their founders and board members are the pinnacle of exemplifying character Plus they are the best christians Pool boys would love them in the conference.

No one wants Liberty in their conference cuz the other schools would kiss conference championships goodbye.
