During a Penny Hardaway suspension. Why do y’all think all of a sudden the university agreed to let Larry Brown be an assistant? They know Penny is gonna get suspended. When they learned this over the summer, they asked the IARP for a reconsideration. And then hired Larry Brown for when that reconsideration fails. Larry Brown will coach the team during this time. No post season ban. The length of Penny’s suspension? I’m guessing 10 games.

I thought it was due to Penny’s persistence. If all of the above actually happens, I’m not so sure they throw Cody Toppert to the curb. At 80, LB may prefer that second seat.

Don't read too much into it. The university hasn't yet received any punishment. It's not in the timeline. And it would have been FOIA'ed by now.

LB's hiring has nothing to do with the IARP case.

I would love for Cody to be the coach in waiting or the 2nd head coach. Cody would play more like Penny. Larry would slow then down.
