How These Loudoun County Parents Reacted To Proof That The School Board Lied To Them

Quote:HAMILTON, Va. — We attended a gathering of roughly 20 parents and other concerned residents of Loudoun County to tape footage for a documentary when the news broke last Thursday night that Superintendent Scott Ziegler had emailed the Loudoun County School Board on May 28 to notify them of the sexual assault that occurred at Stone Bridge High School earlier that same day. From indignation to validation to hope, here’s how they reacted.

“It’s unbelievably shocking, but I think we all kind of assumed that that was the case, as heartbreaking as it is, I think we all kind of knew that he knew and were just waiting for someone to find proof,” Gina Anders told us, as she and three other women gathered around an iPhone to read the breaking news. “That the superintendent of LCPS actually knew about the alleged rape that occurred in the schools from the very beginning and failed — not only lied to us at the school board meeting … but also transferred the alleged perpetrator to another school where he victimized a second girl.”

“The most important part of all of this is they staged a question to the superintendent and had him answer it, and it was a lie,” added Pegah Fowler. “They staged an actual situation where they asked him this question and gave him a platform and an opportunity to actually lie about what he knew. Scott Ziegler flat-out lied.”

“At this point in time, it’s crystal clear” that Loudoun County Public Schools are corrupt, Fowler added.

“We need to get them all out, the entire school board, the superintendent, I mean, and this is an issue of accountability,” noted Anders. “I mean, they don’t want to be, obviously, accountable to the parents. But these are our kids. Parents need to run the schools, not bureaucrats. I couldn’t have imagined it even just a few years ago.”

Several of the women emphasized that LCPS has promoted a “facade” of being an excellent school system. “We moved here a few years ago to the best school district, and … I feel totally lied to,” jumped in Markie Sheets, holding her baby on her hip.

“It’s a facade: Let’s repeat this lie over and over and over again. … Let’s pretend that we are providing the best education in the states, because Loudoun was the No. 1 growing county — I mean talk about a facade,” Fowler added. “They flat-out lied, and they repeated it over and over and over again to a point where it caught on. And let’s just pretend so we can line our own pockets, and then at the end of it all, let’s sacrifice children, let’s strip them of their innocence, let’s take their souls, let’s victimize them.”

“And let’s pass [Policy 8040] so that more students can be victimized in bathrooms like the one they just covered up,” chimed in Anders. “They actually passed it, knowing that this incident occurred. That’s what’s so just unbelievable.”

Fowler added that out of roughly 81,000 students in Loudoun County, “there are 29 of them, and that’s probably a high number, that would have a need for transgender bathrooms. So we’re going to sacrifice our children for 29 people when we could accommodate those 29 appropriately by giving them a bathroom? … You’ve got family bathrooms in grocery stores, you’ve got family bathrooms in malls. Why can’t we provide that for those individual kids and leave the rest of the children alone?”

Fowler noted emphatically that she is “absolutely not” anti-trans. “I think that as a child of Christ we need to love them, we need to embrace them, we need to have them part of our community, we need to extend that love.”

Despite their disappointment and indignation at the actions of Ziegler and the Loudoun County School Board, the women felt validation for their efforts and hope for the future.

“I think we’ve made incredible progress,” Anders said.

“All the time away from our families, all the nights, I mean, it’s incredible because it’s allowed us to bond, but I think it’s so worth it though,” Fowler added. “You know what’s amazing about this, our Founding Fathers and the government that they created — tonight, it validates what we’re capable of.”

“When we get engaged,” Anders agreed.

“Once we know we have the power to do so, that’s why COVID was the best thing that happened to us because it allowed us to educate ourselves and come to the realization that we have complete control,” Fowler concluded. “A Third World country doesn’t have this kind of control. And you know what, our civil rights, our liberty, our freedom, it’s just like a muscle. You don’t use it, you lose it, and that’s where we are right now.”

Loudoun County Superintendent Ziegler Admitted He Was ‘Incorrect’ To Declare Unlawful Assembly That Led To Parent Arrests

Quote:Loudoun County Public Schools Superintendent Scott Ziegler admitted he was “incorrect” to declare an unlawful assembly at a school board meeting in Loudoun County, Virginia, on June 22, at which Jon Tigges and Scott Smith were subsequently arrested for trespassing and disorderly conduct, respectively.

The revelation, reported by Fox News, comes from transcripts of a September hearing for Tigges, whose trespassing charge was enabled by Ziegler’s declaration of an unlawful assembly.

“Individuals had taken over the boardroom and it was very reminiscent to me of January 6,” Ziegler said in another portion of the hearing, apparently trying to justify his decision to shut down the protests of parents, including Smith, who later alleged that his daughter was sexually assaulted in a bathroom at Stone Bridge High School by a boy in a skirt.

“Were there people that were burning chairs inside the room?” asked Tigges’s attorney Chris Kachouroff, in reference to violent left-wing protests in Portland, Oregon.

“No, but there were people who were moving chairs aggressively, yeah,” Ziegler responded.

Loudoun County parent and Fight for Schools Executive Director Ian Prior emphasized that Ziegler had “no legal authority” to declare an unlawful assembly like he did at the June board meeting.

“The school board tried to silence the opposition; they did so over applause for a speaker. And then the Superintendent declared an unlawful assembly when he had no legal authority to do so,” Prior told Fox News. “There will never be trust in Loudoun County Schools until Superintendent Ziegler is fired.”

Earlier this week, emails revealed that the Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office in August refused Ziegler’s request to weaponize law enforcement against parents at school board meetings. “[Y]our request is extraordinary and would likely constitute LCSO’s commitment of a minimum of approximately 65 sworn deputies. Despite this, you fail to provide any justification for such a manpower intensive request,” Sheriff Mike Chapman responded after Ziegler sent Chapman an over-the-top list of requests for additional law enforcement at meetings.

Parents, students, and other protesters have grown increasingly frustrated with the actions of the superintendent and the school board, as the district’s cover-up and denial of sexual assault while the board tried to push through its radical agenda have come to light.

“They’ve failed this county, they’ve failed students, they’ve lied to our faces, they’ve left our children very vulnerable and unsafe, and they continue to preach policies that are more coverups for their actions,” mother Erin Roselle Poe told The Federalist at Tuesday’s school board meeting.

RE: Horror in Loudoun County Implicates Local and Federal Officials
Loudoun County Officials Likely Lied About Knowledge of Sexual Assault in Restroom

Quote:Some weeks ago, news broke about the cover-up of multiple sexual assaults in Loudoun County public schools (see Horror in Loudoun County Implicates Local and Federal Officials). That revelation was made worse by the details of the arrest of a man named Scott Smith, the father of one of the girls allegedly raped. Smith had been denied a forum to speak at a school board meeting about his daughter before he was thrown to the ground, beaten, and escorted out in handcuffs.

As the story went mainstream, the next question was just how much knowledge the school board members had of the sexual assault. On June 22nd, the day Smith was arrested, it was claimed that there was no record of any sexual assault occurring in a school restroom. Were the board members just unaware? Or were they lying?

The latest evidence suggests it’s the latter. This per The Daily Wire.

As has been previously reported, immediately after the May rape, Ziegler wrote to the school board members saying, “The purpose of this email is to provide you with information regarding an incident that occurred at Stone Bridge HS. This afternoon a female student alleged that a male student sexually assaulted her in the restroom.”

Three weeks later, on June 22, Ziegler said in a public board meeting that “To my knowledge, we don’t have any record of assaults occurring in our restrooms.”

Yet, while board member Harris Mahedavi claimed he didn’t learn about the incident until the public comment period, he replied to the May 28th email asking for an update. It would seem highly unlikely that the “missed” an email on the matter only to have it readily available a month later to respond to. Something really doesn’t add up there. Further, Mahedavi was allegedly told about the incident in person by Scott Pio, who is running to be a state delegate in Virginia.

In summary, everyone on the board was sent an email that acknowledged the rape had been alleged on May 28th. Despite that, Scott Ziegler lied to parents at the meeting on June 22nd and not a single board member spoke up about the discrepancy. Later, despite being told about it twice, board member Mahedavi claimed to not have any knowledge.

This all comes across as desperate backside covering by officials who know they got caught red-handed. This is why Glenn Youngkin is in a decent position to win the Virginia governor’s race. Parents are sick of ideologically driven, far-left school boards lying to them. But no matter who wins tomorrow night, this Loudoun County issue is not going away, nor should it.

RE: Horror in Loudoun County Implicates Local and Federal Officials
It begs the question AGAIN.

Why are these people still on the payroll and/or in charge?

It is time for those in that county to be showing up en-mass to the School board members and superintendent’s houses…….multiple times.

Make their lives uncomfortable. Don’t threaten them physically - threaten their jobs.

Make them uncomfortable where they live. That’s the only way they will change……

I’m in NoVa for work today. Just heard on the news that Loudon has set voter turnout records for a gubernatorial vote. That’s not good news for McAwful.

Now, Loudoun County Outrages Parents With Student Survey About Steamy Sex Life Details

Quote:It’s almost like the Loudoun County Public Schools continually try to anger parents. From critical race theory indoctrination to attempting to cover up a sexual assault of a young girl to now asking high school students to complete a detailed survey on their sexual habits, one can only wonder what comes next.

Needless to say, parents of Loudoun Valley High School students are incensed after finding out their children were given the sex survey without parent notification or consent.

As reported by WJLA-TV in Washington, D.C., the Purcellville, Virginia, school gave the “optional and anonymous” sex survey to about 180 students and about 90 of them completed it.

According to WJLA, survey questions included the following:

During your life, with whom have you had sexual contact?

Have you ever had sexual intercourse?

During your life, with how many people have you had sexual intercourse?

In addition to the survey, “handy little informational sheets” were posted in the school’s student restrooms. (emphasis, mine)

Pleasure yourself with Nicotine?

Try masturbation, instead!

Masturbation is a safe and healthy alternative to vaping as a solution to remove stress.

Try it by yourself or with a friend.

I don’t smoke — I never have — so nicotine has never been a thing for me. How do I put this?

I have no problem with the school’s recommended alternative to its students. I say that in the context of not being a prude. That said, why does the Loudoun Country school board believe it is its right to push kids to masturbate? But also, toss in the “try it with a friend” thing?

As is often the case when liberals get caught with their progressive pants down, Loudoun Valley High School Assistant Principal Bill Gulgert apologized to parents about the survey incident, saying personal sex data would be “removed” and not used. He added that the school “respects the right of parents to be notified in such matters.”

Um, sure he does. Liberals are like children. They push, push, push — as far as they can — only apologizing when they get caught “being bad.” If Mr. Gulgert truly believes that the rights of parents should be respected, why was the sex survey distributed in the first place?

I got this one.

Because Loudoun Country — and similar school boards across the country believe, as is the case with the left in general — that it is its responsibility to involve itself in all aspects of the development of America’s kids. We must soundly reject that false premise.

The CRT controversy, and now the sex survey intrusion, constitutes a blessing in disguise — a blessing that continues to spread to other school systems across the country. This level of “We’re mad as hell and we’re not going to take it anymore!” parent involvement must continue, if we are to save our children from the insidiousness of radical leftism and radicalized school systems.

The left’s attempts to take control of all aspects of our lives must be stopped in their tracks.

If not, they will only get worse.

Far worse.

WJLA reported that other area schools were administering the same survey, including Fairfax County, the city of Alexandria, and Prince William County.
