I say good luck to him and his country music career. He told a Savannah reporter it was a mutual decision but Coach Whitely was very clear in the weekly presser today that Gavin was removed from the roster after several incidents and warnings. Hopefully the boy (not yet a man) will learn from the consequences of his own actions.

It just goes to show the path our program was riding down the last 3 years when we have super seniors acting this way. To get a one game suspension and then go on social media and brag about it only being one game, that’s just plain stupid.

We’ve had plenty of embarrassment from our players off the field in previous years. We seem to have purged most of that from our program....Knock on wood...

This is an alcohol offense, not soliciting prostitutes or covering up rape. Highly unlikely he makes it to Lynchburg.

Happened to our program when Chadwell took over, and I'm guessing you're spot on with this assessment. We had like 20% of the team it seemed like enter the transfer portal. Chadwell cleaned out a lot of guys who weren't truly serious and basically told them, "Good luck somewhere else."

I can definitely see GaSo following the same path with a new HC. Going through a rebuild sucks because it takes so long, but at least it lets you get excited about the future.
