Injuries
Since these aren't being tracked or reported by our beat writer, does anyone have any information on who all is out, when they are due back ect? We keep hearing we are decimated by injuries, and i know we have been, but it would be nice to see the list.

Kris Moll - out for year
McBride - might be too early to know
T Johnson - fine now
Johnson-Sanders - Was limping badly on sidelines at end of game
Sidney Wells -
Mac McWilliams -
Damon Miller -
Poppy Turner -
TD Marshall - out for year

I know there are lot more, can someone help complete the list? Might help if we knew if they were projected starters or not. I know Moll hurts, especially when MLB gets injured or tossed where he could slide down.

RE: Injuries
Poppy Turner and TD Marshall are huge losses

Wells being out jacks up the entire OL

We are trying to cover a gap on Ol between recruiting jucos and developing high school players l. There are some good prospects on the bench who are not ready yet

Yep, and you probably don’t mean this the way im about to twist it, but we shouldn’t have been signing Juco OLinemen as “roster fillers” just because. We are so bare in quality Olinemen who can play immediately that we can’t play further than a 6th man.

RE: Injuries
No reports yet but getting carted off holding your knee isn’t a sign of optimism. I was watching TD when he went down. Went to cut to cover a quick in and just crumpled holding his knee

TJ3 may have the experience factor over Dylan, but I think he is a bit slower and less accurate with his passes.

RE: Injuries
Tyler is money on deep balls. he’s our leader. Need him on the field. Hop isn’t ready for that. Commit to run game and hit em over the top. That’s where we’ve been at our best, this season and past. Whatever we are doing now, ain’t working. Those deep passes mayve been dropped earlier in the season, but guys were getting open. Either we get back to our strengths or we focus on getting yardage and stalling in the redzone because Vincent thinks he’s on PS4 with pass plays, attacking defenses that are in perfect position to stop you, instead of running it down their throats.

TJ3 has been made the scapegoat for being embarrassed vs UGA, instead of just accept that’s the number 1 team in the country. Moreso, you looked dumb playing him vs UNT knowing he got hurt vs UGA.

Would the outcome have been different vs Liberty, who knows? I doubt it would’ve went as bad as it did. We damn sure wouldn’t have lost to Rice.

Let’s look back on TJ3 losses as a starter.

Tamu
WKU, worst game of career. Faced a 5th yr P5 transfer QB and a team that went on to be 9-4.
Tennessee, got hurt in this game. Was left in too long, because we couldnt admit we weren’t properly prepared.
FAU-top 25 worthy, TJ3 still injured, Strong FAU, Kiffin coached team outclassed us in every facet
App state-top 25 worthy, hit em in the mouth early. Coaching staff had no answer when app made adjustments.
Miami- played well. OC had no answer. Defense couldn’t keep it close enough.
UGA-knew what was coming. Real college coaches over there. Had no shot when we even called them to schedule the game.

Hop held the ball too long, far too many times vs Rice. This isn’t about who’s a better runner. QBs shouldn’t be running, especially knowing our QBs injury history. This is about who can lead us to victory.

We would’ve beat USM and UNT no matter who the QB was, which is why it made no sense to play TJ3 vs UNT, and worsen his injury.

Yeah, and TJIII also wasn't the one back there blowing coverages at UGA.

I have no idea what we were doing against Rice. Why did we start slinging it all over the yard instead of slowing the game down and giving our D a rest? IDK, maybe one reason Rice was able to burn off 2/3 of the fourth quarter on one drive was that we didn't possess the ball in the 2nd and 3rd quarter like we should have and keep our D off the field.

Also, I'd like to know what it isn't obvious that might be a great idea to run the best back behind the best OL and let that back get to the 2nd level before contact like happens 9 out of 10 times when they actually choose to do this.

If it were me, McBride would’ve gotten 25 carries. Brown would’ve been used to hit a home run when we eventually wore them down.

By the time we started to use McBride, it was too late and he ended up hurt. the lack of confidence to give Stanley a series or two baffles me. We’ve squandered that kid’s career.
