It's football, it happens.
Dudes need to watch hockey, they'll never see those things

Yep. I think it's just basic fan base stuff. It applies to basketball, too.
It's just more noticeable when you have starters at several skill positions who are freshmen.

We needed that logic during the game thread Saturday

Logic has no place in any game thread. It's all hot takes and hyperbole. Not just here, any game thread, any fanbase. IIWII.04-cheers

Has anyone seen or heard from Wilbur?

The current punt-kicker situation is surely taking a toll on him. Pray for Wilbur.

And some of you are concerned because a true freshman who has been injured was rusty in his first time out.

If he was rusty the coach should have know...This is what practice is for.

If he wasn't ready that is on the coach...If he was ready and choked, well that is on him.

THE HEAD COACH---said at the- post- game -presser -that -he hadn't even seen him kick that week in practice--I thought that was odd

I have no issue with that....As the CEO you have to trust your assistants...But man someone would have to answer some questions.

I do have a problem with it. Coming off an injury, as a frosh, in a position to win or lose the game? Yeah, the HC has to at least watch a few kicks while chatting with the ST Coordinator.

Now, whether the HC actually said that is another story. I haven't heard or seen it. Believe at your own risk from That Poster.

Come on -pull your fangs in --why ALWAYS hostel with me --watch the postgamepresser--I am a lot of things --but I don't deliberately lie---I might accidentally make a mistake ---but don't lie

Wilbur done explained it a couple of posts back. We didn't use that Tom Hornsby feller enough and no more Aussies wanted to come puntkick fer us.

What ever happened to that basketball freshman we had that we called Andre Turnover? Seems that he grew up and became sort of a decent player.

These guys will learn from their mistakes so the future looks pretty good.

And that's about it. Never understood the cheering section for Andre Turnover.

You are right. They are in their twenties or older and paid pretty good money to make those xp's. He is a freshman coming off a broken foot. Give the kid a break.

Well, not a literal break. He's just recovering from the last one. :-)

All depends on your management style...

If you trust your assistants you trust their judgement...I would say this is a situation where follow up may be required based on what was seen last week.
