SUMMARY:
NIU MBB and WBB tems host open practice Sunday Oct. 10 at the Convo.
Doors open practice at 11:30 a.m. Enter via Entrance 5 on the north side of the building, and park in lot C3 or C4 near Entrance 5. Masks are required for all fans inside the NIU Convocation Center.
WBB begin a one-hour workout at noon, with MBB signing autographs during that time. After that, WBB head coach Lisa Carlsen and MBB head coach Rashon Burno will introduce their teams.
At about 1:20 p.m., MBB will begin its one-hour workout while WBB will be signing autographs.
NIU's clear/small bag policy will be in effect for the open practice, meaning no large bags or purses will be permitted. Approved bags include one clear plastic 12" x 12" x 6" stadium bag OR a one (1) gallon clear plastic storage bag OR one (1) clutch purse size 4.5" x 6.5" or smaller.
Members of the Huskie Athletic Fund staff will also be in attendance for fans interested in premium seating options for the 2021-22 basketball season, including courtside seats, Nelson Club and suites.
