Leadership that has pissed off the broadcast partner and a shrinking pool of broadcast outlets. When the contract is up in four years you'll see exactly what value the NB12 has. Keep in mind that everyone in the conference will be looking for that golden ticket to the P4.

That conference will continue to send its champion to the Sugar Bowl as long as the remaining 8 members stay there. The only way that league ever loses its AQ qualifier to the NY6 bowls, is if it that conference dissolves. Period.

You're right, but it's not going to be at levels that are so catastrophic that the Big XII loses it's Power Conference status and AQ qualifier to the Sugar Bowl. They still have brand power as well as legal and political power that will keep those state flagships and landgrant schools in that conference from losing what they have established. As long as they stay in the Big XII, that league will remain a Power Conference even if they lose money from CFP distributions or TV revenue.
