The rest of the season
It wasn’t pretty but a W against the Turds at the Glass Bowl is a big W! I hope we start getting some respect from the so-called experts.
We can play much better. However, we are winning while not playing our best. While Rocky is frustrating, of our 4 wins Rocky-led drives in the 4th quarter won 2 games. This is a young team; the future (this season and beyond) looks great. The Huskies aren’t back yet but they are on their way!
While there are no guarantees, 6 wins and a bowl game is likely. We are 4-2 right now; can we get to 8 wins?
We control our own destiny for the West and a trip to Detroit – pretty good for a team the so-called experts picked for last in the MAC West!
GU HUSKIES!!!!!

RE: The rest of the season
I occasionally watch youtube videos where they try to predict MAC team's records or particular games. One had NIU wins at 3.5 for the year and the guy and video was taking the under.
Let's just say a magic 8-balll would do a better job.

RE: The rest of the season
Some improvement in Rocky's passing would open up the run game even more. well coached game today, NIU had possession of the ball for 40 minutes.
D pass coverage was still not good, the Turds missed some wide open receivers.
5 field goals is great, but a TD or 2 and the game wouldn't have been a nail biter.
Lot's of games left, but beating the Turds at the glASS bowl is always a difficult task.
A bowl looks likely, and the MACC, though still a longshot, is still in the mix.

We knew the defense HAD to improve... (Couldn't get any worse).
We know the passing game HAS to improve... (Can't get any worse).
I solved Rock's issue in the game thread... (Can't get any worse... I don't think) (Btw, that was a heck of a catch by Richie at the end.)

Ball State leading WMU by 4 points at the beginning of the 4th Q. If they hang on and beat WMU we are in 1st place in the MAC West (alone).

RE: The rest of the season
Watching the Balls Tate/WMU game makes me feel better about our defense letting guys run wide open in the passing game. It is not a problem unique to NIU lol

Have to ride with Rocky the whole way. It will be the hard way with the ups and downs but he seems to come thru at the end

Ball St. will beat WMU. Huskies are in 1st place in the MAC West, with WMU, Toledo and Ball St, with 1 loss.

That td that got called back was a huge shot to the nuts. Ratkovich had that ?. We got robbed on that call.

It was.
Game vs. BGSU is a celebration of the 2011 MAC Championship team.

Yes, it was. However, if MGMFIN86 still has the buzz going from last week, don't bring him down!

Yes the EMU game was homecoming. So excited after the Toledo game I was thinking homecoming again. Any reason to fill Huskie stadium next week works!

Having drinks later tonight. Maybe I should stick with pop this time. Buzz from victory today is overpowering

No reason not to have TWO homecomings.

They do need to give whoever is the back-up some reps as they are just one play away from being needed.
