Worst game day prep for any coached Marshall team since Frank Ellwood (1975-78). At least Snyder had the excuse of playing with scholarship reduction.

The points are misleading we’ve had more than a few pick 6 and special teams points given up as well as giving up short fields. That’s not all on the defense. Our D holds as well as out O plays. When we’re moving the ball the D can hold its own.

What frustrates me most is to hear Marshall fans say "Huff needs a couple of seasons to recruit players that fit his system." For the record Cramsey's playbook is the same with Huff as it was with Doc, not sure what is meant by Huff's system. Also I've seen great coaches turn a losing team into a winning one in one season, Huff turned a winning team into a losing one (so far) this season.

Marshall's defensive stats are a little misleading as well. Take out the first two games v. a Navy team that struggled at start of season and an FCS team and Marshall has given up 480yardpg in the last 3 games and 35ppg.
